As an acne sufferer myself, I recognized that the types of ingredients & actives we've been using for nearly 40 years are outdated, they're not inclusive, and a lot of the time, make breakouts worse.
I develop each and every formula myself, and I make it for every woman out there who has struggled with acne.

We choose from a vetted selection of ingredients that are safe for all types of acne-prone skin, and we exclude every single ingredient that has the potential to cause clogged pores, irritation, or breakouts.
We prioritize the use of lab-created, safe synthetics and biotech ingredients over trending, plant-based or 'natural' ingredients that often lead to reactions, irritation, breakouts & dermatitis.
And we're pioneering a new generation of acne-safe formulas based on a different undertanding of what actually clogs pores.

As part of our commitment to providing the highest quality products that are safe and effective, all products undergo 5 tests:
- Stability Testing: This ensures the product remains stable and effective under a range of temperatures and conditions.
- Microbiology Testing: This process tests the formula for bacterial or fungal contamination and also checks for the presence of heavy metals. We complete this for every batch we make.
- Preservative Efficacy Testing: This test introduces bacteria and fungi into a formula sample in order to ‘stress-test’ the effectiveness of the preservative system. If anything develops, we re-formulate the preservative system and re-test.
- Human Repeat Insult Patch Testing (HRIPT): Also known as Dermatological Testing, this test is conducted on 50 human volunteers over a period of weeks under clinical supervision. We specifically request a cross-section of volunteers to ensure it’s tested on various skin tones. This test ensures that the formula is non-irritating and non-allergenic.
- Real-World Customer Testing: We test all our formulas on a broad cross-section of our real-life customers to ensure we're meeting the unique needs of different skin tones and that we're safe for those with Rosacea, Eczema, Perioral Dermatitis & Fungal Acne.
