This is a really nice cleanser. It does not seem to strip my skin, but still leaves it clean. I'll probably purchase again!

GOAT MOISTURIZER

I have super sensitive, dry, acne prone skin and it has taken me so much time and money to build a solid skincare routine that won't break me out or irritate my skin . My skin does NOT like so many popular supposedly "good" skincare ingredients like Niacinamide, Centella Asiatica, Urea, Butylene glycol, etc. Through years of trial and error I discovered that I also seem to have better luck with fungal acne safe products so finding products that worked for me became even harder with the list of ingredients I have to avoid only growing. Finding a moisturizer that won't make me break out and is moisturizing enough for my dry skin was always the biggest challenge. This one....and I have never in my life said this about a product....is finally what I would consider a holy grail I could cry!!!! It's the perfect consistency (not too heavy, not too thin) and I love the way it feels when I put it on damp skin. It makes my skin supple and soft and I don't break out from it at all! With the new formulation, it also doesn't pill anymore and serves as the perfect base under makeup. Since my skin is dry, I usually use 2 pumps (sometimes even 3 in the winter) and layer some squalane oil on top at night. Because I use a lot, the product doesn't last as long as I'd like (usually only a month) so it does get pretty expensive for me but it's something I'm willing to invest in because it has the best ingredient list for a moisturizer I could find that works for my stubborn skin. Thank you SOOOO MUCH for making this product and for listening to your customers so attentively and adjusting formulations according to our needs. I'm so excited to try more products from this brand - consider me a customer for life!

Love this cleanser!

I'm a big fan of the Tidy Pores serum so was excited to try this cleanser out! I like to use non-foaming cleansers for my morning cleanse and this is definitely the most elegant (and plush) formula out of all the ones I've tried. My skin feels soft and hydrated after cleansing - zero irritation too.

The pump did break/separate on me about halfway through which is a bummer (hoping it's a one-off experience since all I was doing was pumping normally) but all good since it doesn't effect the actual product efficacy.

Mellow Jelly Cleanser is that girl and she knows it. No foam, no fuss, just thick, glossy, gooey goodness that glides on damp skin like jelly in its soft girl era. She looks cute, feels luxe, and quietly gets the job done.
The ingredients? Thoughtful and intentional. One percent ectoin guarding the barrier like a chic little bodyguard, four percent betaine keeping things cushy and calm, and two percent trehalose saying hydrated, unbothered, in your lane. It is a micellar based cleanser, so while she is not here to melt a full face of makeup, she absolutely understands the assignment for daily cleansing.
I have rosacea, ultra sensitive skin, and a routine that does not play around. Tazarotene at night with a thick ceramide moisturizer. Mornings rotate azelaic acid or a vitamin C derivative like Tidy Pores, followed by Super Sensa and a non waterproof Korean SPF because American sunscreens still feel loud and outdated on my skin. Through all of this, Mellow Jelly delivers. Clean but never tight. Fresh but never squeaky. Calm skin is the real flex.
The texture had me curious at first because no foam makes you pause, but trust me, she cleans. Week two brought a tiny sting for a few seconds and then she said never mind and disappeared. My skin adapted and has been smooth sailing ever since. I dot it around my face, gently massage, rinse, and glow on with my life.
Christina created a formula that is sensible, skin smart, and refreshingly drama free. I am excited to see how she evolves this cleanser and what else comes from her brand. Also, major bonus points because she replies to emails personally and actually gets to know her customers. Authentic is not just the name, it is the vibe.

Absolutely phenomenal!!! I never ever been a fan of a non foaming cleanser so I was skeptical at first but I gave it a shot since the brand was catered towards acne prone skin, and let’s just say I’m so glad I went and bought it. It’s super hydrating while also giving an amazing clean. This will be the only non foaming cleanser I’ll ever use and it’s slowly becoming my favorite cleanser ever. No irritation, no breakouts and my skin has been loving it. 10/10 cleanser

If there’s one thing authentic ego knows how to do is put together an amazing formula

Having rosacea and fungal acne—two skin concerns that aren’t often considered in most formulas—finding something that actually soothes my rosacea without triggering fungal acne was honestly a dream come true. The ingredient list is so elegant and it’s super plumping and hydrating.
I do find myself needing to layer a more emollient cream on the drier parts of my face to help with my dry skin, but I’ve heard a richer version is in the works and I’ll be the first to buy it. That would totally solve my trifecta of issues: fungal acne, dry skin, and rosacea.
In the meantime, I really love this moisturizer and I’ll keep rebuying it. I recommend it whenever I can—it’s everything and more!

I couldn’t be more happier to have come across this brand! Never in my life have I seen a brand that actually understands reactive, everything prone skin! The Ingredient list in sapa is perfection.
I found it to be so soothing and gentle on my sensitive skin. My skin doesn’t itch and it feels hydrating. I do need to pair it with their vitamin c serum to actually make it moisturizing enough for my dry skin.

I think I finally found a moisturizer that works for me! I have rosacea and extremely sensitive and reactive skin. Almost every moisturizer irritates my skin, clogs my pores, or causes fungal acne. After two weeks with this, my skin is way less irritated, smooth, and redness is almost gone! This is different from any other moisturizer I’ve used as it’s not creamy and I use a lot less (as directed by Authentic Ego), but it works! So happy with this product and I hope they never change it! Going to try the Tidy Pores next!
